This guide refers to Beijing New Century Hotel (北京新世纪饭店), at No. 6 Shouti South Road, Haidian District. You may also encounter the name “Hotel Nikko New Century Beijing” in booking links. Compare the address with your reservation so you do not navigate to a similarly named hotel.

How to plan the journey to the zoo
- Choose the entrance first. Ask the hotel reception, or message me if we are meeting, to confirm the entrance for your visit.
- Check a walking route to that entrance. Hotel listings place the zoo nearby, but a distance to the zoo’s map pin is not a door-to-gate walking time. Check the current route in a navigation app.
- Allow for the whole journey. Walking to the gate, entering the zoo and reaching the panda area are separate parts of the outing. Leave extra time if you have children or a fixed appointment.

What can you do with two hours near New Century Hotel?
Start with when you need to be back. Keep travel time inside your two-hour window, rather than adding it afterwards. The following are planning options, not timed or guaranteed routes.

What to send when you enquire
Your hotel name, preferred date and time, number of guests, and when you need to be back are enough to start. There is no need to share your room number.
